The Children’s Dyslexia Center – So. IL Walk-A-Thon
A Scottish Rite Charity
This is year’s walk is going to be bigger and better than ever because we have a lot to celebrate. The Children’s Dyslexia Center we be beginning it’s 16th year serving the Metro East Community.
As of March 2017, there have been 76 tutors trained at the center. This summer we will have 4 new scholars joining us, allowing us to enroll over 30 students to receive services all at no cost to them.
Where does the money come from then? The answer is fundraisers, and this Annual Walk-A-Thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Please join us as we walk to raise awareness
about Dyslexia and fund our program.
You can also help by becoming a sponsor, volunteering to help the day of the event, or donating the drinks/snacks to be given to participants.
Please Consider Sponsoring Our Walk – We will update the forms and letters we have available as we create them.
Save the Date Flyer – Please Share
A Letter to Sponsors – This is a copy of the letter we sent out last year. It will be updated.
